Ingredients

  • 2 mackerel fillets (approx 6.3 oz each)
  • 2 pieces of soft baguette (each about 6 inches long)
  • 2 leaves of red leaf lettuce
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 0.4 oz salted butter

Directions

Ready in 20 min

  1. Slice the onions, soak them in water and drain.
  2. Remove the bones from mackerels and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Grease baking pan with oilive oil. Place the mackerels with the skin side down on the foil. Grill for 15 minutes on Cheese Toast Mode.
  3. Cut each baquette into two slices and spread butter inside. Put the slices back together and reheat for 4 minutes on Beguette Mode.
  4. Remove bread from toaster and let cool slightly. Place (in order) red leaf lettuce, mackerel, mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, black pepper, and onions inside. Top with lemon to finish.
