This hearty delight is guaranteed to satisfy. The cayenne pepper maximizes the spiciness of the chorizo, while the pickles and onions give it a refreshing crunch. Enjoy however you please, and don’t worry about making a mess!


Serves 2

  • Soft baguette (6 inches long)
  • 6 chorizos (each 4 inches long)
  • 0.7 oz cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/2 onion (for sauté)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 1/4 onion (for garnish)
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 pickles
  • Cayenne pepper


Ready in 15 min

  1. Chop the onions (for sauté and garnish), tomato, and pickles into small pieces. Cut chorizos into 0.4 inch thick pieces.
  2. Grease the frying pan with oil. Sauté the chorizos and chopped onion until brown, then add ketchup. Add salt as you like.
  3. Cut baguette into two pieces (horizontally) and top with the sautéed mixture and cheddar cheese.
  4. Toast on Cheese Toast Mode for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Top with onion, tomato, and pickles as you please. Sprinkle cayenne pepper if you want to make it spicier.
