(Weigh the strawberries after the stem ends are removed.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-cooking-step__item\">Put the strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice into a pan and mix. Set aside for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-cooking-step__item\">When the strawberries release liquid, start cooking the mixture over high heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-cooking-step__item\">Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to medium-high. Simmer, stirring occasionally and skimming off foam.<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-cooking-step__item\">Continue stirring occasionally over medium-high heat. Simmer until the jam reaches the desired thickness.<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-cooking-step__item\">Toast the bread to a golden brown on Toast mode for 2.5 to 3.5 minutes.
